Heart Rate Variability Biofeedback allows you to gain control over your body’s response to stress. It is a scientific and evidence-based treatment during which you learn to strengthen your mental and physical control by using signals from your own body. The benefits can be experienced in a period of weeks but this is a lifetime skill. Once you learn it, you can’t unlearn it. Imagine being able to let go of a stressful experience within moments following a stressor or training the heart, in advance, to remain calm and confident for a specific challenge. This practical tool has been a game changer (literally) for competitive athletes and has helped many individuals seeking peak performance in relationships, work, academics, and trading/investing to improve baseline health as well as performance.
Dr. Lagos and her team offer remote Biofeedback training to clients who do not live in the New York City area upon request. An initial visit to the NYC office, however, is required to launch the training.
