What Is Neurofeedback?

Neurofeedback therapy helps to reduce busy brain, improve focus, and enhance attention. This is a scientific, evidence-based, and drug-free treatment that is FDA approved for treating ADD/ADHD.

Neurofeedback is a safe, non-invasive training technique for enhancing brain wave patterns. Unlike medication, nothing is put into the body or brain. The training is gentle, engaging and incrementally builds the brain’s cognitive flexibility and focus.

Dr. Lagos and her team provide remote Neuro feedback training to clients around the world upon request. An initial visit to the NYC office, however, is required to launch the training.

What Are The Benefits?

The essence of neurofeedback is self-regulation, teaching the brain to regulate itself. Training is a process of undoing limiting mental habits that are no longer useful. What Does Neurofeedback Involve?

Initial Meeting: You will meet for an initial evaluation with Dr. Lagos to discuss your specific needs and to establish a personalized training plan that may include behavioral and health interview questions.

qEEG: You will complete a qEEG brain scan to identify your brain’s current functioning. Dr. Lagos and her team will use this data to develop your individualized neurofeedback training protocol.

Weekly Training: After your training protocol has been created, you will begin your weekly trainings. After approximately fifteen to twenty sessions, you will meet for a second qEEG and further training guidelines will be recommended.

Duration: Sessions last 45 to 50 minutes and the techniques are non-invasive, allowing you to comfortably and confidently improve your psychological and physiological ability to efficiently and effectively manage stress in health and performance.
